Music and Videos disappeared!

Last night after I was finished surfing the web on my iPod touch, I went into music to put on some tunes while I was going to sleep. It said the library was updating?? A minute later, there is no music, or no videos left. Podcasts and photos have been left untouched. When I go to "about" in general settings it states that…

Last night after I was finished surfing the web on my iPod touch, I went into music to put on some tunes while I was going to sleep.

It said the library was updating?? A minute later, there is no music, or no videos left. Podcasts and photos have been left untouched.

When I go to "about" in general settings it states that there is zero music and zero music. HOWEVER, it also states that there is only roughly 4gb of my 32gb memory left, which is the same figure with my music??

Literally have no idea what happenned, has this happened to anyone else? Is my iPod 'done'?? :S
