As someone who uses the wifi hotspot feature on my Nexus One fairly often, having it buried in the settings to turn it on and off was really annoying me. So I made a quick dirty app called Wifi Hotspot Settings which you add to the homescreen for a shortcut to the tethering and wifi hotspot settings page. It's on the market now.

I don't use the hotspot that much but still a nice little shortcut to have, cheers, nice work!

    Lovely jubbly.

If you were to make one for the 2G / 3G setting I'd me inclined to be even more grateful than before.

You're already my favorite Android developer :)

    nice one.

The HTS desire has a little widget for it under settings , its absoltuely indispensible , I have a nice screen setup that has wifi, 3g, bluetooth, gps, volume and brightness all in a nice row with one touch on off activation.
