Gavin "shels"

So some of you might remember my last thread like this but well it's fecking happened again a pair of runners I've seen and really want but can't fecking find them anywhere.




Anyone seen these around?

This is pair quite similar, except more navy than blue, but it's pretty close (I'm not particularly good with shades though)! On closer look, the style is slightly different too...seemed more similar in my head I guess! May be some good to you though.

They were in JD Sports on Henry Street last week when I wandered in there. It was definitely the right pair as I have them myself.

Was leaning away from the pair in the first link, everyone has them these days. Cheers though.;)

Gent, was heading in there tomorrow anyway but least it saves me from going into the other half dozen shops. How much they set you back roughly 65 blips?

You're probably dead set on Adidas but Dunnes do a really similar Gola runner for 25 yoyo's.

Yup, they were posted in the second post on here. Everyone is wearing them Samba's, hence why I ain't going near them.:D

Not sure mate, I was just in there to buy socks for running and caught a glance of them.

my boyf is OBSESSED with sambas! Last christmas is cork city lifestlye sports of all places were doing lovely ones in electric blue cheaper than schuh. We were in schuh there the last day and they have some lovely ones in different colours, he's gettin army green ones next. Also he has gotten some gorgeous vintage sambas online, definately worth checking out ebay and etsy for a really special pair. Savage runners they are so sexy on men!

I love golas designs and colours but in my own and the boyf experience they are really bad quality and last no time at all, the adidas last ages if you look after them well, it's just keeping the fabric clean that's difficult. The soles are very sturdy though.

+1 I've had a pair of Beckbauners (sp) since Christmas and apart from a bit of the suede they are still in mint condition and I'd wear them most days.

Went into JD, Lifestyle, Schuh, Champion and Office and none stocked this colour, only the green or baby blue ones. :mad:
