help - game software

hi guys
prob not the right place, my son is mad into gaming on the pc and xbox, he is really interested in creating games, i tried to download udk but it wont load as says it missing a file called udk.exe

would b great to get some advise.

First things first ,

UDK , Legend Tool ... LARGE though ,

One to try out but VERY expensive ( try find a download on Piratebay)
Would be 3ds Max ,

But erm .. You coooullld try Just delete EVERY file Got to do with UDK an Re install

If he is really interested in creating new games, you should get him to try Unity It's a lot easier to make games with and there is a lot of information on the forums It's not as advanced as UDK in the looks department, but it's a lot easier to make brand new games with.

With the UDK problem, I've never had a problem like that... Did you try run the .exe from the programs folder in your C: Drive as administrator?

Also, does he know any 3d modeling programs to make models for his games? I'd advise the autodesk 3ds Max 30 day trial for him.
