DIT Second Semester Exam Results.

    Can somebody advise me on when DIT exams are out- summer semester- and how to log on and access them

    You will get an email to your student email address with the details when they are released. I know the exam boards for some courses are sitll sitting so they should be out next week, as John said some are out already.

    Click your faculty on the left and you can download the date and time results are released

    I heard my results should be out today, turns out there not out till the 15th, I mean how long does it take for the bloody boards and exams to be corrected, grade submitted, DIT at its finest...

    i checked all those lists and my course isnt on any of them, does that mean we all got 100% and there is no need in giving us back our results. lets hope so!

    DIT in there great wisdom have decided not to put a list of courses up for business and expect us just to realised when they are up or check our email everyday to know

    I'm doing business and languages so my course is under applied arts on the list.

    In fairness this is the first time I think DIT have ever put up such notice when results were coming out for comp science students :rolleyes: ,

    Anyone know what you should do then for sending results to the council to renew the grant? They'd hardly take a printout of results put together in word?

    You will probably be able to go up request them give you them on a letter headed paper probably,

    this is the end of my 4th year in dit every other year that put the list up. changed it in most cases last minute but it was still there has a rough guide

    Actually it takes a considerable amount of time, if you want the work graded properly and if you want to avoid administrative mistakes because of rushing it all.

    Further, if you are in final year, you will have to wait for the external examiner to come and visit and review all of the work. Given that many of them are senior academics from abroad, things also have to fit around their timetable.

    Exam results always come out in the two weeks prior to June 20th. It is the same every year.

    There may be things you can complain about in DIT, but the time ot takes to correct exam results is not one of them.

    Well today is the 20th and results are still not out. The results have been sitting on adesk for over a week with all the red tape over with. Just waiting on some one in an office somewhere to click a button to release them.

    yep, still no results here either. worst thing is i'm pretty sure i failed one, but i'd still like to know for sure!!

    I got the e-mail saying my provisional results are up on Thursday with a reminder of my PIN, but when I log in I can't select the 09/10 Academic Year. I repeated my Semester 2 exams externally, but all the correspondence up until now has gone without a hitch. Can't get through to either of the numbers given for exam queries for the Business faculty :mad:

    Just noticed this too:
    Due to essential system maintenance, Student Self-Service will be unavailable Tuesday 22nd June & Wednesday 23rd June 2010. Every effort will be made to conclude this process sooner so as to ensure minimum disruption to users. We regret any inconvenience caused.

    So looks like I might not get my results until at least Thursday now? Grr
