Does anyone else find it really hard to play the single player campaign of the MW games from playing multiplayer for so long? I got MW2 originally for the xbox last year, had a sh1te net connection so never played it online, played the single player, breezed through it. Got it on PS3 and now have better net so play it constantly, have just gotten into MW1. But I tried to give the single player mode a bash and I suck at it! since theres no PSN at the mo I started playing the Spec Ops levels, and jesus, I'm getting hammered, its a completely different mindset to playing the multiplayer, guys appear out of nowhere, you're being shot at from every angle, its not as paced as the multiplayer at all, or am I just sh1t at it :D

I always start every game playing the single player campaign. It was my 3rd day of playing MW2 that I ventured online :P Always played on the hardest mode first in this case veteran. I find it just helps me settle into the game and get used to the guns.

MW2 was a breeze single player for the most part. Spec Ops on the other hand.. for me was all nighter with my mate with and at the time my ear piece wasn't working. Playing on veteran, we breezed through all the missions bar a few of them. High Explosive, the one on Estate and the stealthy snow level. Bloody hell never was I more stressed playing those maps. Trying to explain what to do via chat was a real pain in the ass as I tend type long detailed messages :pac:

Krudler what maps are you stuck on and what mode are you playing?

COD4 you have to push forward as the enemies constantly respawn. MW2 is the opposite as there is a set amount enemy to kill. That's the most simplest way of looking at it in general.

Was much more used to single player due to having a crap net connection and no gold live account for multiplayer.

I've already completed MW1 Veteran except Mile High and all of MW2, which I thought was a bit too easy, even on Veteran - the Spec Ops are much better for a challenge though

There is no better waste of time than playing The Bog and War Pig in MW1 with the Infinite Ammo, Slow Motion and that Scatter Grenade cheats on.

Pick up the Dragunov at the start of the level and you'll be laughing like an eejit at all the headshots you pick off. Brilliant.

Buying MW2 and playing single player is like going to a brothel for a hug!
