Why do you need a full metal one?

was going to ask the same question, personally im not a fan of full metal teeth on the piston, if you have AOE and such correct you should not have any problems and if there are any problems i like having non metal teeth as a kinda fail safe i would rather the teeth on a 10euro piston go than the teeth on my 50 - 60 euro + gearset

    Couldn't agree more.

Metal pistons are a waste of time, too heavy and slow, no felx or give under load etc etc.

A half metal teeth piston is the way to go though, the initial pickup is handled by the polycarb teeth under low/no load and as the spring compresses and the piston retracts it moves onto the metal teeth further forward. full metal teeth will often be scored or rounded from the sector gear after a while since there's no flex in it.

personally been using the element piston deburca linked to, nice budget item and the re movement metal section makes removing the front teeth for short stroking a breeze without having to do anything to the piston body itself

Hi. I bought this aeg http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/eac-custom-guns/aeg/ea-x-magpul-vltor-ubr-custom-aeg-olive-drab.html , plugged 11.1V li-po, a few shots and piston broke. I mentioned a new piston, plugged 7.4V li-po, a few shots and a new piston broke. Always breaks at the same place. Have you any other solution?
here is the photo of cracked pistons:

do ya know what kinda rate of fire you were getting? it might be that the piston isnt returning fast enough and the gears are catching up with it again before its fully forward. try it with a stronger spring in there and you can use a ported cylinder to get the power down to the level you want.

choosing G & P thought that I will not have to change anything, that all parts will cooperate with each other without problems. Maybe slower motor will do the job ?.
