This show will crash an burn in the ratings, it's pretty bad. But, the guy playing Mitra's husband...the English guy, i thought his acting was pretty good, it's very generic and bland. Desperate Housewives meets Twilight....you even have a wolf pack!! (sic)

Hot looking women, gorgeous boys for the ladies...but as a viewer there was nothing there to grab me or get me excited to see another episode. Will i watch it again?....possibly, as Sunday is a rather quite tv day, but i don't recomend it to anyone.

Just watched ep. 2 - it was pretty good!...much better then the pilot, multiple story arcs going on. much more engaging and interesting.

I just watched the first two episodes back to back and I am really looking forward to the next one.

It is interesting and entertaining......I think it will be good.

Actualy there was no new ep. last week due to July 4th...so ep. 3 tomorrow.

This show is really starting to pick up.

Can't wait to see the Stepford Wife Claire's plot develop.....she is hungry for blood!

Also that doctor is she a black witch of some sort?

Many interesting sub-plots for different characters developing.

^ saw ep. 3 myself...twas ok, i wonder what that box is all about?...the female cop seems to need it, then she killed yer man who stole it....it was a bit slower this week then the last ep.

But i'll stick with it, Mitra sells it.

Hmmm...so what about those two plot twists at the end?, will that keep you watching?...nice to see Shannon Luccio again, she played Caleb's daughter in S2 of The OC. Nice twist involving her + the bigger revelation, now how will cop dude react?

I mean, the vampire saved his life + yer wan said she was gonna go back and kill his daughter after she finished with him, so he can't just stake vampire guy...can he?

Also i think vampire dude overheard the conversation Shannon had with the cop about him killing her family member.

That reveal at the end makes it a bit interesting now.

I thought the latest ep. was an improvement, with cop dude now actvely working with vamps it makes it a bit more interesting, and Andie and her succubus side emerging. Does need to be a bit more twisty though, bit too Desperate Housewives.

SCARY!...wow!, best ep. of the season....like a creepy horror, show creator Scarbo wrote it, lots of reveals as well...now EVERYONE knows!, tis gonna be interesting next Sunday for the two part finale.

Some nice frighteners as well, some really well done scenes....good stuff!

I'm soooooooooo angry!!!!!!...what the sick and twisted way to end!!!!...massive cliffhanger, loads of questions unanswered, once again it was a season finale intended to serve as a vehicle for a possible second season, we were left hanging!

No resolution...just F.U. to the fans, you're screwed, deal with it...dreadful!

Sadly, now it's official...cancelled:

ABC has now officially shutdown The Gates and Scoundrels. The cast and crew have been officially notified by the network that there will be no season 2.
