Toilet Pan Extension

    Hey all,

Im replacing a toilet under the stairs with a back to the wall concealed cistern type. I naturally want to use up as little space as possible, but am governed by the location of the soil pipe in the concrete floor. I tried a swan neck but cannot get a good seal on the toilet side due to the base of the toilet hitting the soil pipe in the floor, a flexible pipe cannot bend sharply enough (and is too long) and a regular 90 bend puts the toilet out an extra 3 inches or so.

Will a straight pan extension seal into the swan neck? I want to use the straight extension from the pan, into the swan next in the soil pipe.

    Cheers!

If i am understanding you yes it will. Especially the polypipe one and as they are going down with the flow it wont matter. You can use silicone on the join between the 2 pan connectors just for that extra bit of security.

Ps you can buy a flex pipe long enough wirquin do them in 2 sizes and I guarantee you there longest will fo it no problem Before its extended its 600mm alone. The standard is 300mm

Thx, will try that extension so.
I have a flex pipe but its too long, even a short one cannot turn 90 in the small space I have.
What I really need is a half swan next connector!

I did that about a month ago after the bent wouldn't fit, and hasn't given any problem, and i didnt use silicone or anything else on it.
