We at Kildare County Show are delighted to announce that members of the “Emerald Garrison” club of Star Wars enthusiasts, will be attending our show for the delight of children of all ages (prizes will be awarded to the best dressed “Jedi”)
Based in both Northern and the Republic of Ireland, their professionalism and dedication to costuming has brought them to some of the largest events throughout the UK and Ireland, including Invasion Belfast, Invasion Dublin, Toys 4 Big Boys and the Download music festival and now they are coming to Athy on June 20th.
As a mark of their popularity, in 2008 they organised the Invasion Belfast event where 13,800 people descended the Odyssey in Belfast t

I'll be there - but then I'm a member of the Emerald Garrison, so I guess that doesn't count

Really looking forward to this! Should be a fun day by the looks of it.

The event is apparently held at the Showgrounds in Athy.

After the roundabout, because of traffic restrictions, you may have to turn left onto the Castledermot road and after about 100m, parking will be on the right
