UHF grouped Diplexer with through power on both legs??

I'm looking to get my hands on an A / E grouped diplexer. E.g. something like this

Now, DC power is pass through on both sides to power an amp, but in my case I only want the Group A side to be powered. The group B side will probably have a small contract aerial with no amp. If I can't knock off the through power for the Group B aerial, I'm concerned that it will short out the group A amp or turn off the autodetecting 12V supply that the distribution amp provides.

Any thoughts? Is there any drawback to diplexing first and then using a group A masthead amp on the output leg?

I'm using a triax diplexer with power on both legs, one leg or no legs option.

Oh good, so the power on any leg can be selected. Thanks for that! That should avoid me having to play with some capacitors and solder to prevent a short!
