    Hi,
Tried to remove hop up chamber and inner barrel on the AA L85, very stiff, finally removed hop up chamber but inner barrel is still in the outer barrel.
Any advice on how to remove it without destroying it?? Would really like to have it running for skirmish on Saturday! ;)

Find something with the same diameter as the barrel and gently tap the barrel out, use something to protect the barrel though.

    use another barrel.

whats holding it in? are their any grub screws or anything that might be gripping it? or is it just the outter barrel being a bit tight? that would be fairly unusual.

    Cheers Lefty,

That did the trick, unfortunately used an inferior plastic dowel and left some in the outer barrel. I'll use your advice Masada, and use another barrel to get that out. Inner barrel was stuck right to the last inch? does seem odd alright and no sign of any grub screws or anything. Only thing I can think of is maybe the gun got a knock and whole barrel assembly is a small bit bent.
I'll update this thread when I work it out...

    Cheers again.

Masada you were on the money - grub screws that hold dual functions, they hold the outer barrel in place, but also clamp the inner, just goes to show the danger of relying on youtube tutorials, and not using your own logic! Anyhoo, she's sorted, cheers men.
