AT&T PAYG sim Data hack

    I picked up an AT&T GoPhone (PAYG) sim for a visit to Florida, loaded it with a $20 data plan only to find they block it unless you have a contract with them. If anyone is planning on doing this the way around it is to leave your Irish sim in, go to settings/APN, remove sim, insert AT&T sim and input their APN settings;

    wap.cingular
    WAP@CINGULARPRS.COM
    CINGULAR1

    then exit and browse away.

    Use caps as typed.

    Thanks, will try that next time i head over there. Is it $20 for a month of Internet?
