Is it cooking classes for Mexican people, or is it classes to learn how to cook Mexican food? ;)

This sounds like a great idea. Some people might not think being charged €15 to cook your own food is a great offer BUT you have to realise the knowledge you will get. You will be able to cook these dishes many more times to a high standard. Surely that has to be good value for fans of this food.

Pity though I'm not this biggest fan of Mexican food - Why can't an Indian Restaurant get in on this act? - I would be there for sure.

Thanks OP, that really sounds like a great idea! We have to support the Mexicans. It would be a good idea to do this with other cuisines, say especially Indian. Wasn't there something else like this before called a food trail doing Asian food, but it was way more expensive than this. http://www.fabulousfoodtrails.ie/
I'd definitely be intersted in this Mexican food, it sounds like you'd have a great time.

I've gone to a couple of these lessons and they're great fun. Hugo (the owner) was lovely and very patient. It starts off with a quick lesson about the huge varieties of chillis there are. Then we learnt how to make our own tortillas of various shapes and sizes from scratch and then made a few different dishes from them.
The kitchen is a wee bit tiny so at most there's room for about 4 or 5 people in there but it's well worth the money. Oh and you can buy beers and wine afterwards to have with the food! :)
