    Hey,

I have of yesterday notified my new local office of a change of address and the transfer is all good and set in motion.

However my query is this. I have a JA payment waiting in my old local post office in Mayo and was due to collect it today but I won't make it on time as previously thought and from what I gather today was the last day to collect it.Will this payment be transferred to my new local PO when all transferring business is complete or will I miss on on this payment completely?

    Thanks:confused:

Anyone? Tried ringing my local office but no answer on a regular basis all day, got a bit disheartened so any help would be a sweet deal..

    Hey SteeveeDee,

If it was the last day that the payment was in the post office for collection and you havent collected then it goes back to the social welfare.
You need to be persistent and keep ringing or drop into you local welfare office inform them that you have changed address and that you didnt collect your payment in Mayo they can see this on the system and should be able to sort you out and process your missed payment with you next payment due.
Better if you drop into them but if not do keep ringing I know it seems hopeless as nobody ever seems to answer but they will.
Best of luck with it all
