Horwarth Bastow Charlton just closed a €50m fundraising for it. You can give them a shout and see if it's still open. These schemes are really aimed at the middle income earners and if you are willing to take a very low risk, the return is quite good. The only one that I know of that went pair shaped was for that Irish version of Treasure Island when the boat sank and the production was not completed. Essentially, the project is pre sold to a TV comapny and useless the costs run over budget ot the TV company goes bust, then there is no issue. You need to finance a portion of it yourself but banks are well used to this and financing will already be in place. So someone earning €60k can essentailly make €2k in 6 months from it. but as I said, there is a small element of risk in it so you need to pick productions with the lowest risk. the last one i did was a cartoon being sold to nickelodeon. Absolutely no risk there.

Yep, I got in on the Camelot Film Relief scheme run through Acumen & Trust up in Sandyford, Dublin 18 a few months back. They work in some relationship with HBC as mentioned earlier by Cantoris. That opportunity is obviously closed now but give them a buzz and they'll be able to provide some guidance to you. Depending on your income there is between €1k and €4k to be made for minimal risk under the Film Relief Scheme..... I hope.

A&T are bunch of young(ish) good guys who seem to know their stuff. Not employed by them, no interest to declare other than being a satisfied customer on this front.
