Theres a place in Monkstown Farm in Dublin
    Johns Meat Company

They're doing a 35 euro pack, picked one up last week, have gotten breakfast lunches and dinners out of it
    1lb Sausages,
    1lb Rashers
    1 half Black Pud
    1. Half White Pud
    6 Eggs,
    5 x Chicken Fillets
    1 lb Round Mince
    1 lb Diced Beef
    1 Large Whole Chicken
    1 lb Sirloin Steak

The steak was pretty good, threw it on the barby, the chicken was 1.8kilo

sounds a very standard price with no really bargain involved, and if you shopped around you could probably get it under 30 quid

Unless that's organic that's not a bargain, way cheaper through the likes of Lidl

I'm not aware of similar deals myself but i'll take your word for it

But i'd rather support a local butcher than Lidl or Aldi any day of the week.

    1lb Sausages, - €4-5
    1lb Rashers - €5-6
1 half Black Pud - dunno
    1. Half White Pud - dunno
    6 Eggs, - dunno
    5 x Chicken Fillets - €6-8
1 lb Round Mince - €4-5 for decent stuff
    1 lb Diced Beef - €4-5
    1 Large Whole Chicken - €5 +
    1 lb Sirloin Steak - €7-9?

The steak was pretty good, threw it on the barby, the chicken was 1.8kilo

My (lower estimates) not including dunnos = €30

pound for pound its probably a decent price, you can probably beat the price if you buy really cheap stuff, but the butchers stuff should be of a much higher quality.

Problem with it is that buying meat in quantity isnt exactly a great thing, there is 5 days worth of dinners there, I wouldnt fancy eating whatever was left till the 5th day...

my butchers it is €7ish for a breakfast pack, €10 for ten chicken fillets, €10 for 2lbs mince + 2 lbs steak pieces and then €10 for 2lbs of sirloin. So I wouldn't be to pushed about this

    Found it here:

Looks like you can order online. They have a section where they compare their costs to other supermarkets as well (never know whether to trust those yokes though).

    This isn't a bargain.

    Quite the opposite tbh.

That lot would be about €25 in my local butcher.

The butchers block shops do a €20 deal that includes a fair amount, we go to the one in Dundrum town centre and have always been happy with what we got. They do a few bbq selections too and for €8 we got a load of meat - enough for 2 good bbq's.

Would be cagey about spending €35 in one swoop as we may not get through it all and as usual we would not freeze it and dogs would end up having it.

    1lb Sausages, €2.75
    1lb Rashers €3.50
    1 half Black Pud €3.50
    1. Half White Pud -
    6 Eggs, €1
    5 x Chicken Fillets €8.50
    1 lb Round Mince €2
1 lb Diced Beef €4 (steak)
    1 Large Whole Chicken €5.49
    1 lb Sirloin Steak €6

    €36.75 @ http://www.sulmeat.com , online price.

However, these were not their 'specials' which are considerably cheaper in store.
