Independent check on dealer sold used car?

Like the title says, Im looking at a used car (6mths old UK import) with an Audi dealer. They're honouring the remains of the 3year warranty that it would have been sold with. I've done the usual HP and write-off checks. Is it neccessary to have it independently inspected too or is that dead money?

They are obliged honour any remaining warranty - no favour being done for you there.

If thre car is 6 months old and HPI clear, chances are it won't have a service history. Therefore if it's all straight, true, clean, and everything works 100% I'd not bother.

p.s. Check the 4 tyres are the same brand and model. If not become suspicious.
