I managed to make bits of my elbow at the weekend and low and behold like the tennis players us golfers also have an injury associated with our beloved sport - 'Golf elbow'. I had to spend and evening in the A&E after GP recommended I get an x-ray...
Does anyone know how long this will keep me off the course???

Be highly highly surprised if it's not a muscular issue. Tennis elbow / golfers elbow etc...its generally tendonitis, inflamation of the tendons around your elbow joint.

Ice and deep tissue work should sort it out.

+1 Will most likely be a muscular problem.
Pack the elbow with ice, 10 minutes of ice 5-6 times a day.

It may take 2-3 weeks for the elbow to settle with rest and ice. If its no better in 10 days to 2 weeks I would see someone to examine and do some soft tissue treatment on the elbow.

    Good Luck
