Morning all.. Been looking at a house recently, in which it had a air filtering system running in the attic. Does anyone know much about these? First time I have come across it!

Is it a Mechanical Heat recovery ventiliation system? (MHRV) A lot of modern homes are installing these, they suck the stale air out of bathrooms, kitchens etc and recover the heat and blow fresh (heated) air into habitable rooms.
