Living abroad for a year

    Hey guys,

Not sure if this should be in the living abroad section or not. If so please move.

Basicaly myself and my girlfriend moved to Seoul for a year (minimum) teaching English about three weeks ago. Love it so far, job is handy, well paid...etc.

However what im wondering is (Im not sure if someone told me this or if i dreamt it) if there is any way of making sure we do not lose our tax credits for 2010 while working abroad.

When wer come back to ireland it is very unlikely we wil both walk straight into jobs and if needs be might have to claim the dole for a few weeks. Can anyone let me know is there any form i have to fil out, let them know im working abroad...etc.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks
