In a further space saving move I'm looking to part company with a homemade “Corretto”style roaster.

Basically, it’s a modified bread machine, complete with a drill stand & a heat gun...the drum has a hole drilled thru it to allow for a thermocouple to be fed through for accurate temp readings. The drill stand allows for the heat gun to move up & down, plus there are two settings on the heat gun so profiling is possible. I have a pic of it in all its glory somewhere on my PC & will post once found.

Lots of info on this style of roasting here: http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1154442377 , and when set up mine looks a lot like the ones in these pics.

Note - this is not something you would use indoors, so a back garden/large balcony/ garage is essential. A desktop fan is perfect for blowing the chaff away during the roast, & also doubles as a cooling device once the roast is dumped. This is great fun to use, and smells better than a BBQ!
