Sorry if this is a stupid question but I know nothing about cars. I have a little crack in my windscreen. From the outside it looks like a stone hit it- a little circle mark and it has a little line behind it.
I remember a stone fell off a truck and hit that spot a few days ago so if this was it the crack appeared afterwards?? Is this likely? Otherwise it happened today and I didnt notice.
Do I need to get it fixed? It's very small.

Best to get it repaired before it cracks further and you have to get the screen replaced. In most cases it can be stopped from spreading

Ok, I will so. I have windscreenn cover anyway. Where can I get this done? Can you fix it without replacing the windscreen? Will my windscreen cover cover this too do you think?

I noticed a chip on my windscreen on the weekend.
Does anyone know how much (roughly) it costs to get a chip repaired?

Just been on the autoglass website - it fits all the criteria for being repaired, but they don't give you even a rough price for repair (except free if you have fully comp:rolleyes:)

Gavin from autoglass tells me that if I have a small crack in my windscreen and North Korea invades South Korea and I run over a small puppy tomorrow all hell will break loose.........I'm inclined to believe his scare tactics
