    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts (good or bad) on the above?

I'm thinking of getting a 05 or 06 one, and probably with around 80k on the clock.

    1) Are they reliable?
    2) MPG??
    3) What should I watch out for with this mileage?
    4) What mileage should the t-belt be changed (or is it a chain)
    5) Any other comments.....

    Thanks!

Not too sure about the newer models to be honest but I'd say they'd be pretty good!:)
I bought a 2002 A4 1.9 diesel there in January and I love it!:D Put 70 quid of diesel in it 2 weeks ago and I've done 300 miles of pretty nippy driving...and it just touched the half way mark in the tank today! Not great compared to some diesel's but I do mostly short journeys and never get the mpg above 45. Having said that I've done a few 40-50 mile journeys and it reaches around 55 mpg at 60 mph and 1900 revs! Talk of 60+ mpg is **it....if you ask me anyway!

They are a very comfortable car and the boot space is pretty amazing too. This was my first car and having moved from my parents Toyota Starlet I suppose I might not be hard to please but Im very happy as I am!:)

Having said that I'd let it go if the right buyer came along, even if it was only to buy another A4.....but thats just my itchy feet!:D
Need any other help just ask!;)

If a seller offers you a TDi with an S4 badge on it, laugh in his face.

    Then walk away.

I don't think it was an S4 fella....its an S line!:) Maybe your just making the point in general but this guy is talking about the S line model...much more class to it!!;)
