    Hey,

I'm looking for suggestions for a good tinted moisturiser, preferably with an SPF. I am quite olive/sallow skinned and don't ever wear foundation.

I just think its about time I invested in a good tinted moisturiser becuase i'd like good, even base coverage that evens out any small inperfections.

Any helps would be great :D:D:D

Not too sure if within budget, but would highly recommend the laura mercier tinted moisturiser, really nice, Dermalogica also do a nice one

Yeah I've heard good things about the Laura Mercier one, don't really have a set budget, as long as its a good product.

Has anyone used the Benefit You rebel one?

    Hi!
I absolutely love the No. 7 tinted moisturiser. They have it in light/fair and medium. I'm fairly pale and think the lighter one does add a bit of colour and coverage without the heavy feeling of foundation. Perfect for summer! Plus you can use one of those vouchers they are constantly giving out in boots- You know those €7.50 of skincare vouchers? They hand them out evey few weeks. Got mine a week or so ago with it! It's aroung 15 normally I think.

I've tried the olay one too but found it too orange. It kinda felt like foundation and I was self concious all day so I just gave it to my mom in the end! This might be different now because it was 2/3 years ago at this stage!

I never spent that much money on tinted mousturiser because I never even thought of doing that. I'm kinda curious about the one that Clinique are doing because its factor 50 but I find their products hit and miss most of the time.

On a side note I'm not sure if you should rely on tinted moisturiser alone for skin protection. The NO.7 one has factor 15, as do most of them, but i would still put on other stuff if you are fair! And i still use moisturiser underneath, but I think that is out of habit more than anything else!

Best of luck! If you find anything interesting let me know, I think tinted moisturiser is the way to go!!! :)

I use Clinique "Almost Makeup" tinted moisturiser, has an spf 15 in it and coverage is good so you get a good while out of it.

Bobbi Brown also have a great tinted moisturiser - its lovely and light, feels great, has SPF 15 and smells really good too. They have a really good corrector pen which is great for any blemishes or red patched that the tinted moisturiser just won't cover up!

I've heard bad things about you rebel, thats its really quite heavy on and the colour range isn't great for the price.

I've tried Nivea, Boots No.7, Clinique and other tinted moisturisers that I can't remember right now.

Only one I have liked so far is Clinique's Almost Makeup as mentioned by another poster. All the others I find very heavy. Even Clinique's tinted moisturiser doesn't feel right on my skin.

Ive tried the Benefit You Rebel one (It comes in 2shades and id be the darker on) and I really wasnt happy with it. Its quite heavy and blotchy looking. Will not be using it again this year but am also on the look out for one to use on holidays with an SPF instead of suncream.

I found the Benefit You Rebel wasn't great. Very hard to blend in and also the colour was a little bit yellowy in the fair colour.

I use Lancome's Hydra Zen tinted moisturizer and it's great. I think its about €22 and well worth it. It's also SPF 15.

The Lancome one is €32. I also highly recommend it and the Laura Mercier one is brill too but its about €55 so the Lancome one is better value.

Ops Sorry - I'm ridiculous at prices! Although I've had mine about 7 months now and still some left so it's worth the money!

I love Bobbi Brown's one in the tube, I get more compliments when I wear that than I do when I wear foundation. It lasts for ages.

Didn't realise they shipped to Ireland! Was the p&p expensive?

Not that it matters to me now as i've just moved to London where it's easy to get Kiehls :P

Bought the no.7 one yesterday in medium... absolutely love it!! Its really sheer and light, but gives decent coverage at the same time, great for me because my skin tone is fairly uneven.

    Win :)

Yeah its free once you spend over £30, the moisturiser itself cost £20 so I easily filled the rest up with lip balm :D:D

Think its free delivery with no minimum spend in the UK.
