For the novel section. Can I use Matilda by Ronald Dahl?

We used Goodnight Mr Tom in class but I don't really like it and I love the book Matilda.

Is there a set list of novels to be used?

And can you give me general tips on the english papers in general. Like nice phrases to use in the personal writing ect.

I'm doing Romeo and Juliet for Poetry section and I got that covered. I memorised a good bit of quotes. Same goes for Dulce Et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen.

As far as I know, you can, but you'd have to prepare notes etc in a few hours. It's not worth giving up everything on the Drama or Novel section. Studying a new poem might make the difference though.

Ok I think I'll just stick with Goodnight Mr Tom then.

Wow!! But twilight is a heap a shiotte!! Spose it's really useful to use a book that you like sure everyone will be getting full marks if that were the case!

You don't need to really get approval to do a novel. You can do whatever you want. The teachers wont know, they wont give out. It's not like they're going to ever read the exam. YOu could do "The Three Little Pigs". They're just telling you how to do one book, helping you with it. You can take the advice, or leave it. It's not like they'll care.
