Contador set a unbeaten pace in the prologue ,stage one had a crash late on in the peloton but the yellow jersey was not involved .

the race takes in Alpe D'huez this year ,a must see .

Martens was taken to hospital after crashing in the finale of the stage. On Tuesday morning, the team announced that he had not only broken ribs but had also torn his kidney. - ouch

    From Chris Horner's blog:
"The rest of the day was much calmer with only great scenery viewing to pass the time until it was once again time for final fight between the sprinters to the line. But one HTC-Columbia rider had his own story to tell as we were all fighting for space on the road with less than 5 miles to go. I watched him drop off the road into a two foot deep ditch, flying end over end with his bike launching up and into the air. It was unbelievable!"

not so sure about that, he looked to be trying pretty hard to drop everyone on the stage yesterday and couldnt, but then again it wasnt near as steep, he should have known better :p, and then there is the whole TT incident, but you never no maybe he'll have some extra 'juice' tomorrow

Don't you know you should never finish a sentence with a preposition.

    You should have said-

What time is it on at, the dirty eurosport fcukers.:D

In fairness this is really fcuking slack even by eurosport standards.
