Forming for Funk

    Hi there. I am forming an original Soul Funk band and I am looking for people to team up with. I play guitar, clarinet and sing. I am also a studio engineer/producer. I want to put a good team of passionate musicians together that will work well together and are interested in starting up a long term project with a view writing original music that can really get the crowd moving. The band is based in Dublin. There will be a few covers thrown into the set for good measure and to help with gigs. Style is funk and soul based but has blues and 60's/70's rock influences.



    The initial plan is to get a solid core of 4 people and then expand a little as needed. I am looking for experienced musicians who are serious and want to work semi-pro, and hopefully leading to fully pro. The main thing I am looking for other than that is creative people with lots of soul who want to get out there and play to the crowd, no ego.


    Anyone is interested I would love to hear from yee.
