    Anyone doing it?

Any suggestions of somewhere to camp the night before?

No, Paul, but Cashel Hostel, John St., Cashel, has very good accommodation for €16. Plenty of room there at the moment. Myself and another guy are staying there tonight.

    Cheers Tom,

Will make a decision later on whether we will do it or not. Looks a good challenge!

Navigationally it looks relatively easy and the forecast is good too (famous last words!). I've not done it before so it has an element of excitement in it too.

Navigation is pretty easy I remember (after doing it in thick fog one year, 2 weeks after a basic nav course!), it's all due East (or West, can't remember). Just make sure that if you do make a mistake you make it to the right and you won't fall off a cliff :)

There's one section towards the end that is best dog legged rather than on a direct bearing, should be obvious from the map.
