Blog RSS content syndication

    All,

I'm hoping someone might be able to provide some clarity with regards content syndication.

I have a personal blog, and want to add more content, therefore I have set up a RSS feed to post content onto my site.

The feeds are coming from BBC (which looks to allow content syndication providing you don't use the official logo), and also a couple of blogs that have RSS feeds.

Is there any legal rammifications that I should be aware of?

Am I right in understanding that their posts are imported to your blog to make it look like you wrote them???

They are imported into my blog, but I'm happy not to take any credit for them and have all posts categorised by the host websites name. For instance, say I import someone elses blog posts into my blog. Providing I categorise these posts as "posts from blog x"

It's more a method to add depth of content on the site without having to write it, or pay for it.

Ah ok! Good idea then I guess!

Dunno about the legal end of it though.
