    Hi

My mother worked in America in the 1960s and overstayed her visa. Do the records go back this far? We want to send my parents on holiday to Boston but she’s afraid that she won’t be allowed in. I've told her that she will be fine but she doesn't believe me. Where could I find confirmation of this or do you think there would be a problem?

    Thanks

you can pre-register for their esta thing online which gives pre-clearance and should flag any major problems beforehand so you can resolve them.

alternatively contact the us embassy in dublin, they charge per minute so you'll need a credit card handy.
