voluntary work in Nevada, USA

    Hi, I'm working this summer until the end of september, i finished college in may and haven't got a chance to go away yet simply because I didnt have the money to go anywhere. Most of my friends are all gone away for the summer and I just dont know how they can afford it because they don't work, do they get out loans or borrow money from their parents, thats a question for another time. Anyway, i finish work in september and because no one is going anywhere in october i will be heading somewhere solo. My plan is to go away for a few weeks in october and I was looking at voluntary work abroad because I will be with a group of people. There is a Nevada Wilderness project i am really interested in, does anyone have any experience doing voluntary/normal work abroad alone?
