Anyone deal with warranty direct?

    Was interested in getting a warranty on the Golf GTi for a bit of piece of mind. Phoned up warranty direct and they said they offer cover in the republic and have lots of customers. No problem with garages/dealers doing work etc. They seem to have a good reputation in the UK so I was wondering does anyone here actually have one of these warranties or any mechanics know if your garages would deal with them?

    The only reference I could find was on a BMW forum where a guy got them to pay up a few thousand no problems...

    Just under €400 for the year. Covers quite a lot.

    Not a bad price if it covers most things. I also see they cover damage to insured items caused by failure of something not covered.

    I got warranty wise on a car I bought up north for 12 months and says it covers most things. Main reason I got it, was for the flywheel.

    Not bad - might appeal to the type of person (like my Golf driving neighbour) who changes their car when the warranty runs out.
