A good friend of mine is getting married and I said I'd sort her 'something blue' for her. problem is she doesn't want to wear a garter, her jewellry is already sorted to cover the something old and something borrowed, any ideas of what else blue i can get her???

Not sure if it's appropriate as a gift, but my something blue was my underwear. :D

Failing that, you could get a small pin with a blue stone that she can pin under her dress?

what about something small like a blue hair slide she could hide under whatever way she has her hair.

or a blue clip she can attach under her dress..

What about a blue flower in her bouquet -or a blue brooch attached to her dress, even on the inside. Or a little blue bow sewn into the inside of the dress?

Blue nail varnish? (For her toes, if not her fingers!)

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. I got them all and then forgot them:o

A tiny blue ribbon, you can offer to stitch it onto her undies, or a blue diamante pin she can stick into the stems of her bouqet. The nicest touch I have seen is a bride with a tiny locket in the stem of her bouqet, inside the locket was a picture of her late grandmother. I got quite emotional, had to hold it back as my own grandmother passed that morning but I thought it was a nice touch, you could get her something similar if there is someone important to her missing, even just absent from the day and insert the blue ribbon on one side of the locket and image on the other.

I wore my mothers sapphire ring as my old, borrowed and blue. Is there something like that you could lend her? What about a white lace handkerchief with her name embroidered in blue?

Dont know if your friend is religios but maybe a miraculous medal to pin on the inside of her dress. Something like this http://www.trois-bijoux.com/images/med05b.JPG

This is perfect and with that you can add blue hair clips, blue small jewelry box as she will definitely also, you can gift here jewelry come vanity box that will be good option.

    Thanks

My Grandma gave my Mum a blue and white hanky to carry on her wedding day. She kept it and she's lending it to me for my wedding, so I'll have a something borrowed and a something blue. Actually it'll also be a something old too! Have you anything blue yourself, like even a little ribbon or something that she could pin in her dress or wrap around the stems of her bouquet? It could be something borrowed for her too.
