What's shopping in Menorca like?

I'm flying out on Friday and am staying in a close enough to central location and am willing to get taxis to decent shopping locations. Can anyone recommend any good markets as well, preferably ones that sell clothes and leather goods? Also have my heart set on buying a nice real leather knock off designer bag... are there many of these sort of vendors around the place? I like to shop in highstreet stores like Zara, Stradavarius, H&M etc. Are there any other stores that are similar around Menorca but ones that we wouldn't have here in Ireland?

    Thanks!

I think you might be disappointed if you want high street stuff, at least from what I saw.

I only went to Mahon as far as the big towns go and that's not very big. It is a lovely place to shop though and there was a vero moda there which was much cheaper than at home.

it's really mainly hand made leather stuff though, traditional spanish shops and the like. I loved menorca, very friendly and relaxing with some nightlife if you want it. it is nothing like Majorca though.

how are you getting there, via the UK?
