transfering money irl to oz

    i have an irish bank account and am going to oz for a year on whv.i can open an oz account before i go.if i put say 5G IN THE OZ ACCOUNT before i go to oz,when i,m in oz and find my funds low ,can i access more money from my irl bank account and transfer it to my oz account.the exchange rate is pretty bad,so i dont want to put all my irl funds into a oz account,and pay transfer charges as well.

    Yes you can do an international electronic transfer from your Irish account to your Aus account.

    Takes about 24 - 48 hours.

    If you need cash faster you could use your Laser card.
