    Which is better!!?? (Online multiplayer)

I had MW1, got it just before MW2 came out so didn't play it much and traded it for MW2. Great online game with the lads. Then I traded it for Bad Company 2. None of the lads bought it even tho it was a great game. Now talking to some o my friends, they have gone back to MW1.

Since I didn't spend much time with MW1, is it better than MW2? I didn't like the maps in MW2. I traded BC2 for Red Dead (had unlocked all the weapons, no more achievements to get (no fun ones anyway). Red Dead online is crap, free aim has to be unlocked at a certain level, u joking me?

Now thinking of getting MW2 back just to play online with the lads, ah confused!!

Personally, I'd say MW1 was more compelling online, but if you're relatively new to the series it might feel like a step backwards. For me, MW2 feels like it's stretched to nearly breaking point in terms of balance etc... It's an awful lot of fun, don't get me wrong, but MW1 just feels less.. fussy and competitive I guess. I haven't felt the urge to pick up the new maps for MW2, for example. That's not to say it isn't fun, it most certainly is, but I felt like they may have pushed the formula of levelling up / streaks / perks that little bit too far, and overall have spent much less time online than I did in the first.

I preferred MW1 over MW2. I remember when i first started playing MW1 online i was addicted but when i tried MW2 online i just did'nt like it. All the new features were just annoying and as a result i've hardly played it online since.

I've been playing BFBC2 a lot recently and prefer that overall to MW.

    MW1>>>>>>>>>>MW2

    Superior in every way.

All my points regarding this are on the COD forum :)

Thanks Tallon, just checked with xtravision, they are selling it for 35 2nd hand but will sell it for a fiver if i trade in heavy rain.

I loved heavy rain but zero replay for me and i got the DLC, won't be getting anymore so 30 quid to trade it in is very good imo!

Just watched some of your vids on youtube, very well done man! Gets me in the mood to pick this up again, might get a DLC pack. Is stimulus or resurgence worth the price?

Wait your rebuying MW2? *Deleted off PSN friends list*

    :pac:

MW1 is the pinnacle of the FPS genre tbh.

I'm actually swapping games with one of the lads, he said i can have MW2 for a while, he doesnt play it much any more so that will do my fix. Now, I'm all for MW1 but I moved to BC2 for something new and even though it was better than MW2 imo, just isnt the same as pwning your friends! I might get them to change to MW1 some day but i'l have to be crafty about it. Why is MW1 better than MW2 anyway? Maps? Perks??

    I would buy them both:pac:
Everyone is playing mw2 these day so I would personally go with that, its fun playing with a party of 6 friends raping noobs

Maps are better and it isn't as... well the only word i can think of his "clunky". MW2 just has too much of everything which in a way makes it worse.

MW1 defo spent much much longer playin it, MW2 suck's ass unless you enjoy being shot by camper's every 2 minutes, either way BF BC2 trump's both of them i think :)

Is Black Ops spose to be any good? Will prob pick it up anyway for the online but don't know much about it, only you can have a cross bow and maybe bow and arrow.

Anyway, i'l be on MW2 tonight, will be a born again noob!
