HI, I passed yesterday (06.06.2010 @ 13:45) on M50 North, towards M1/N32, and just after the last signage bridge I noticed the new painting for the fixed speed camera on all lanes towards M1 / N32 junction. The slip road to M1 (bot North and South) is covered by the speed lines. Just few meters away where the old fixed…

HI,

I passed yesterday (06.06.2010 @ 13:45) on M50 North, towards M1/N32, and just after the last signage bridge I noticed the new painting for the fixed speed camera on all lanes towards M1 / N32 junction. The slip road to M1 (bot North and South) is covered by the speed lines. Just few meters away where the old fixed speed camera used to be.

I did not see the actual GATSO camera, only the poll where the camera is to be installed, unless there would be camera(s) fixed on the back of the signage bridge.

Can anyone confirm when it will be installed and running?

Not sure when it's supposed to be up and running, but going through on Thursday in light enough traffic I did notice there is a camera on top of the gantry pointing in the general direction of the road markings.

Might not end up with a GATSO camera by the side of the road, the gantry camera may be servicable for speed checks.

So then the camera is installed in the position already.

I did not noticed it.

I will have a run just to check it in few days.
