    Hi,

Has anyone set this up yet?
I'm having trouble setting it up, on the app i have pointed it to my external IP address and set the password as the same used with tightvnc on my XP PC.
On the netgear router I have gone to Home > Configure > Advanced > Pinholes > Edit Pinhole and put in the following settngs:
    Pinhole Name: androidvnc
    Protocol Select: TCP
    External Port Start:5800
    External Port End:5900
    Internal IP Address: 192.168.1.10
    Internal Port: 5900

When I click connect on my phone I just get the Estabhlishing Handshake. PLease wait...
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks.

I've got it working on a Linksys router with TightVNC on the PC.

Try setting this for a pinhole:
    name: androidvnc
    external port start: 5900
    external port end: 5900
    internal ip address: 192.168.1.10
    internal port: 5900

Initially I opened port 5800 as well but closing it doesn't seem to affect anything, it still works with port 5900 only. If for some reason it doesn't, add a separate pinhole for port 5800 in all 3 places and a different name (giving the same name would overwrite the previous setting).

Let us know how you get on. :)
