So after all the huffing and puffing with getting Carlow into Liam McCarthy as a 13th team, their only reward is two consecutive games against Laois? Why weren't they put into seperate pots?

    Harsh on Wexford though.

Wexford are screwed. An opportunity for one of the weaker teams to progress a bit.

Tipp certainly wont like that draw either. They'll go in big favourites against a Wexford side that's always capable of turning out one big performance a year.

Wexford did catch Tipp cold in the C'ship a few years ago much to most peoples surprise, so an upset is not completely out of the question. This current Tipp team is far too strong though to let that happen again imo. They played terrible against Cork, I can't see them playing that badly again. Tipp should have way too much if they turn up on the day.

While obviously its nice to avoid Tipp,it still a bit stupid that Carlow play Laois again a few weeks after playing each other in Leinster. Surely they could have kept them 2 apart.

That will mean that Carlow will have played Laois in their last 3 competitive games, and the U 21s play them on Wednesday night too. That side includes about 8 of the Carlow Seniors too!!!

Its a great chance for Carlow, Laois or Antrim to go far...and maybe a bit more luck in drawing Limerick for the winner, will see one of these 3 keep going another round.

    Likely Outcome of the quilfers.

    Prem Round
    Loais vs Carlow- Loais

    Phase 1
    Antrim vs Loais- Antrim
    Tippearay vs Wexford- Tipperary

Phase 2- (im given Kilkenny,Galway and Cork to win there semis)
    Offaly vs Clare- Clare
    Dublin vs Limerick- Dublin

    Phase 3
    Tipperary vs Clare- Tipperary
    Antrim vs Dublin- Dublin
