Looking to get a coffin case sorted for my CDJ's, was wondering if there's places that anyone can recommend? I've found a few sites selling them but just not sure of quality and a good price so any help would be appreciated.

Swan Flight cases http://www.swanflight.com I've bought 2 so far (CDJ 800s + DJM 600 and CDJ 400s + DJM 600) and they have stood any abuse I've given them. If you can, get a flightcase that allows you to wire everything in at the start so all you need to do is plug power and sound cables into the back of the case every night - makes life so much easier when setting up.

Came across that site among others but wasn't sure about it, will get onto them and try and sort one out. Cheers for the reply.

When i had a pair of CDJ 500s and a DJM 500 i used a coffin style case made by 5 Star. Had an in-built plugboard and psu and kept everything nice and tidy and my gear well protected for nearly a decade.

At the time i think it cost around 500 punts when i got it around 1998ish - but it did the job.

Swan Flight Cases i hear are a decent brand but remember the weight of your players in the case when traveling with them.

Shop around. prices can vary form shop 2 shop, site 2 site.

Here's a photo of an oul classic.....

Theres one specifically for 2 X CDJ200's and a 19" mixer so thats perfect and for around €190. I'm looking around a few other sites at the minute though will post links to any other good sites I find in case this crops up again.

tbh i think thats a decent price for a coffin case - depending on your cd player and mixer size its an odd spec for a case you are looking for. Could be a custom build job. bare in mind the size and weight of this thing when going from gig to gig. i had mine on the back seat of my car!

I think ray dogherty cases are still around - also there is a flight case company somewhere in south dublin - possibly around the sandyford area that may help you out. forget the name of it but spotted their website some time ago.

Most cases would be generic and of standard size - eg you can get a case for CDJ1000's and a DJM 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 for around 150stg

Seen a few on Ebay but wasn't sure of the quality of them and need them to fit the large mixer aswell.

Had a quote from milestone Productions there and it was €290 after Vat. That was before I had asked for extra space for an Efx 500 so think Swancase is the best deal so far.
