Yes I've heard the www.thebusinessshop.ie are good for this.

Personally i think they are the greatest load of 'artists' .

One 'business broker' put me in touch with a company (retail) that gave me their 'estimated' accounts on a piece of paper. When I looked for VAT receipts etc - blank. The Broker did nothing and refused to get involved. But still wanted 20%

Another broker hasn't rang me back after three calls to his to get details on a company he is 'selling'

And finally a broker wanted to sell me a website for €35k - no analytics, unfinished and he couldnt tell me how he came up with the price. Dick Turpin.

All I am saying - they are bridges, nothing more. Will do nothing for you and will expect a big chunk of the sale (which i would try and get around)

Sounds like some estate agents have turned themselves into business brokers.

Have you tried some of the trade magazines in relation to your business Jamesy.
