Tiger's intimidation factor

Many have argued that since details of Tiger's "transgressions" were revealed, the intimidation factor that he once had and used to his advantage has all but disappeared.

Does the fact Ricky Barnes shot 62 in Tiger's company at the Memorial yesterday prove this?

No, that just means the world is ending.

Seriously, though, the aura has kind of worn off.

I actually think tiger has done well this week. He's hardly played this year and i'd say he's quite happy with the progress he has made. Give him a few more tournaments and he'll be back up to speed. I still wouldn't be surprised if he wins the next two majors at two of his favourite courses.

Tiger's intimidation factor really only comes into play in earnest during the final 9 holes on Sunday when you are leading the tournament and he is a few shots behind.

Ricky's score yesterday with Tiger alongside proves nothing.
