Me and a couple of friends have decided to go for a day trip somewhere tomorrow. As its a day trip I'm looking for a good place not too far from Dublin. Say about 2-3hr drive max. I've been to carlingford and so was wondering if there's any good place down south around wexford or something...

    Cheers for any advise.

Motorway down to kilkenny [brunch there].
Then Take the backroads to Bunclody in co wexford and cut across the blackstairs via mount leinster[stop there and have a look around] and head down into enniscorthy [stop there/late lunch].
Then motorway [m11] back to Dublin.
    Start Early.

Head down to Tramore. You will feel right at home with the rest of the Dubs. :D

Wicklow, they don't call it the garden of Ireland for no reason.

Glendalough, Avoca, Powerscourt House & Gardens, Brittas Bay Beach. Lots of lovely destinations for a day trip.
