Help re Ipod on Iphone

    Can anyone help me i have an iphone about 8 weeks when i got it first it worked fine but last week it crashed and had to be sent off for reprogramming i got it back on thursday but it will not sync with Itunes for the ipod only it has reset my contacts ,Apps(most of them) and my pictures but gives errors for every song on itunes ones i bought on itunes and also ones i loaded onto itunes.It is driving me mad as i have spent hours trying all the things apple and vodafone recommended but nothing works and vodafones answer is send it away again.

    The error says iTunes could not copy because an unknown error occurred (-20) And the other error says iTunes could not sync with iTunes an error occured while writing to the device
