    Hi all,
I recenly bough the iPhone 3GS and have a 2G iPhone lying around which I would really like to give to a family member. I bought in the US and it was jailbroken to iPhone. However, since I dropped it in water (yes, I know) it works fine but anytime the battery dies, it has to be connected to iLiberty+ before I can use it again. It needs to be rebooted out of a safe mode (even when charging, the screeen shows a prompt to connect to iTunes.

Is there any way I can wipe everything, and rebreak it to work with the latest version of iTunes?
