Swollen feet

Planning to head to the docs anyway about this, but just thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts.

Sometimes I fall asleep sitting up in a chair all night, I am not talking about an hour or two, I mean instead of going to bed, I am sitting upright and sleeping til the morning.

However the last 2 times this has happened, I have noticed my feet actually swell up noticeably. There is no pain at all, just that, well they look like clown feet. And it usually takes ages of elevation to reduce this back to normal

Any thought what this could be?

I am not a medic but it seems to me that the seat you are sleeping on and the way you sleep is blocking your veins. So what may be happening when you block circulation you get fluid build up.

If you feel sleepy and are too lazy to go to bed stretch out on the couch.

I am a lazy fecker too and will fall asleep and stay on the couch if left.

Going to the doc is a great idea because swollen feet and ankles can sometimes be a sign of something else not functioning right like the kidneys etc. But as it only happens sleeping in the chair -thats the likely cause -if it was me I would go for a check up.
