Sky Multiroom question

    if i have sky+ in my sitting room and want to get sky+ in my bedroom does that mean i can only watch what they are watching in the sitting room..iv never had sky before so was jus inquerin?:cool:

    Depends on how you set it up. If you only have one box and run two cables off it, then yes, the same thing will be on both TVs. If you get an official Sky Multi room subscription (€15 extra per month, plus whatever once off set up costs exist at the time), then you'll have a separate box for the two TVs and can therefore watch different programs on each one.

    yea i signed up to sky and i got a sky+ for the sitting room and i got multiroom with a sky+ in my room....so does that mean i have to watch what there watching in the sittin room

    No, you'll have two different boxes, with two different cards. You'll have the same selection on both, but you can watch/record completely different channels on them. From a practical point of view, it's like you have two different accounts that both subscribe to the same package(s). That's why they insist on having them hooked up to the phone line, so they know they are being used in the same house. You'll also have use of Sky Player as you are a multi room customer.
