    Sky now own such channels as Virgin1/Living/Bravo/Challenge.... ect:
    But they probably will not be FTA. :(

    Why would they be FTA? They aren't now and never were on satellite.

    Expect these channels (which aren't bad at the moment) to become watered down "sky 3" types with any of the decent content to be moved to Sky 1/2.

    Less competition is never a good thing :(

    Completion of the agreements is conditional on obtaining merger control clearance in the Republic of Ireland.

    We don't really. Not uploaded here. Sky is a Foreign service that happens to be sold here. We have as much chance of objecting to content on Canal+
