Hi, Just wondered if anyone could tell me I working for a company who have told me I am being made redundant but my problem is that I worked for three years then was promoted to a higher position on 15 hour contract. For the first year or so i worked between 15 and 25 hours a week usually above the 15 though but since finished college for the last two years I have been workin 30+ hours a week - in a redundancy situation will they only pay me 15 hours as a standard week even though I have been doing more than that for three year?? Thanks!

I'm not certain, but I understand it is based on the average pay (not hours) over the previous 6 months. However, you need to check it out to make sure you get what you are due.
